[Night, and a campfire outside of town, in the lightly forested scrubland of the Neloi Flats. A good rendezvous point for a ragtag bunch of abductees; a point of interest for any stragglers, where fellow otherworlders can be found.

Just follow the smell of cooking meat. There's...there's a lot of it.

And while you're all feeding yourselves, there's a lot to talk about. For instance: who the fuck were the people that brought everyone here? What did they want? Who's interested in finding a way back home, and what's the best way to tackle that question? Where will everyone stay? How will everyone get along in this place?

[If anyone stayed for the night (and why wouldn't they? Campfire, familiarish company, and good food), they might have noticed that Yuusei didn't actually sleep. Or eat. Instead, he was fiddling with something close to the firelight. At one point, he's even vanished from the campsite, presumably to get something. Come morning, Yuusei has three distinct piles of...things.

One pile is a bunch of defunct phones, ranging from flip phones to more modern-looking smartphones, the only thing they have in common being that they've clearly been fished out of someone's trash, or perhaps a local junkyard. Presumably, that's what he ended up disappearing to get.

The pile in the middle is what he's currently working on, several phones having been disassembled and their parts all spread out for him to determine their functions and uses. It almost looks like he's using them for a reference. There's also several rusted tools-screwdrivers and the like-that he most likely salvaged from the same junkyard he got the phones from.

The remaining pile is...well, it's more phones, but they look significantly more polished and put-together than the others. Even though it's the smallest pile of the bunch, it's pretty clear that Yuusei somehow managed to get several phones working-they're just waiting for someone to choose them and put a number inside for contacts. Any phones he got from Prompto or others to work on are kept separate from that pile-don't want to get them mixed up, right?

Someone tell this man to get some sleep. Or watch him work and enable him, who cares.]

[Well, these all look great and cool, but Reira (whose glove is now covered completely in marshmallow and stains, sorry Yuusei) likes her duel disk more. So she creeps over to the familiar duelist, and the pile, eventually crouching down to stare at them.

....Phones....] ...You didn't make duel disk..? [she asks, almost confused. With you being a duel disk and a tinkerer, she sort of assumed you'd do that.]

[Oh, hello fellow duelist. He'll give a somewhat mollifying smile.]

Maybe later. Someone asked me to finagle some communication devices for all of us, so we could keep each other updated. Considering we both already have our own duel disks, I figured this would be better for the time being.

[but.]

...But they are communication devices....

...You can call people, and show videos, or write things...

[A nod.]

Aah, but the others here aren't duelists, as far as I know. I figured it'd be fairer to make devices they'd be more familiar with. There's not much point in making disks for them, otherwise. After all...

[He motions to Prompto's phone, recognize it?]

Someone already provided their phone to me to use. Using similar devices from this world to work on theirs was the easier solution.

[...Well that's lame. She frowns, but she suppooooooses it makes sense.

Plus Zarc is grumbling about non-duelists, so she needs to move on from here. He's not especially pleased about Yuusei being the only one, seeing how Reira won't at least get a duel going.] ....Could I call them still?

You could, if your duel disk can connect to the network. I can work on it to make it do that, if you want.

[It shouldn't be too dissimilar to the other smartphones and tablets he picked up, right?]

[Well, time to find out! She immediately unclips it, turns it on 'tablet mode', and holds it forward.

[Haha, goodness. He'll take it.]

I'll work on it when I can. You don't mind waiting and eating with everyone?

I'm already eating with everyone. [Or well, she was. She holds out her glove hand, blinking.] ...Prompto made something called 'smores'.

Ah, those? I haven't had those- [Sweets in Satellite are a rare thing, they don't keep well.] - but I hear they're typical camping snacks.

I didn't either until today. I hadn't had marshmallows or 'graham' crackers either, but Shinji gave me chocolate at Crow's house...

That was the only thing I had that Prompto used though. It was better than Chocolate..!

You don't mean Crow Hogan, do you?

[It's a small chance, since they're clearly from different dueling periods, but maybe...]

[BUT HOWWWWW-] ...Crow came from Synchro Dimension though... ...but you knew what Fusion cards were...

...They don't have Fusion, or Xyz cards in the Synchro dimension....

[He narrows his eyes.] I'm afraid I don't understand...I haven't heard of anything like this.

You're telling me the universes split along summoning methods? [He knows card games are powerful, but...this is ridiculous!]

Mm. [She nods.] That was how Zarc was sealed. Ray used her four cards, and everything split in four...even her, and Zarc, since it was their duel.

[Well. Shit.]

...So this Crow you met, he was in one of the four dimensions...

[And you didn't recognize Yuusei himself, so it's safe to say that he must not have been around, either. Huh.]

He lived in 'Commons', in Synchro...they had riding duels there, with big 'd-wheels'. Those didn't exist anywhere else.

D-Wheels, huh? Of course he'd be somewhere with those...

[Wait a second. Yuusei sounds like he's familiar with those.]
